We are all challenged daily with rough experiences, and this year has been no different! Maybe it’s even harder! We find ourselves at the crossroads of brokenness and beauty, compassion and accountability, resilience and resistance,
humility and shame, running to and running from relationships. The truth is we need each other in all of these scenarios, though that might be hard to admit. We need each other not because we’re not enough or because we are too much! We need each other because that’s how God created us! We can’t make it on our own, so let’s talk about it at this 4th annual “Be You” Retreat! We hope you will
join us!!!!!

2022 "Be You" Retreat Memories

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
NICKIE, VIRGINIA
I was skeptical about revealing my darkest truths to a room full of strangers. However after the reveal those strangers became my community. This experience taught me that we are more similar than we imagine, and that broken pieces can be mended in a form in stronger than the original. Forming authentic relationships is the start to unveiling your healing power within.
MONIQUE, JAMAICA
I came from Jamaica to attend this retreat and I learned that trauma can impact our health over
a lifespan and can lead to a lot of diseases, so it is very important to work on healing. You should come to the next retreat because it can help you see yourself for who you truly are!
AUDREY, ILLINOIS
I came to this retreat exhausted but now I am rejuvenated. I am from Chicago and I believe I
owe about a thousand dollars for the therapy I received while I was here. I came with seven other
ladies and I look forward to bringing more people with me next time.
AKILAH, MICHIGAN
I came from Michigan with my daughter. The food was on point, I had a blast, I enjoyed the
accommodations, the weather, the conversation, ping pong with one of the facilitators and her
daughter, the line dancing and the sessions. This is going to be hard to top but I’m going to keep coming to these retreats and keep asking other women to come too. Like I said, I had a blast!!!
